How do I know if it’s for me?
Here are the symptoms – The course is for you if have ever experienced ANY of the following:
I know that if you’ve ever experienced even one of these symptoms it doesn’t feel very nice. If you don’t deal with the symptoms they can make you feel really fed up and frumpy, your self esteem can plummet and you can end up in a very miserable place.
WTF Syndrome can steal your confidence and stop you from doing things.
Just the other day I was talking to someone who was considering not even going to a close friend’s birthday party because she was feeling so down on herself. She had nothing in her wardrobe that made her feel good and wasn’t sure where to start.
Imagine turning the Syndrome on its head and swapping the Wardrobe That’s Failing into a Wardrobe That’s Functional.
What if your wardrobe went through a detox programme and was pared down to only contain things that made you look good and feel amazing?
Can you imagine being able to swish your hangers to and fro in the morning and finding it really easy to choose your outfit for the day?
What if you really loved everything in your wardrobe and you knew that everything in it really suited you. If all your clothes made you feel great when you get dressed every day and were all very ‘you’.
Imagine if you could get dressed for any occasion without stress and know that you are looking the dog’s bollocks. How would you feel as you left the house...ready to conquer the world?
Have you ever had that feeling, you put something on and it just makes you feel like twirling and doing the happy dance. Nothing can piss on your bonfire when you find something that you love...the initial rush might wear off eventually but that thing will always be a favourite.
My WTF Programme can help you get the feeling more often. It will help you understand why you like some things you’ve bought but they end up at the back of the wardrobe never worn. It will help you avoid making those mistakes in the future. You’ll learn what you like and why. It will help you understand what very ‘you’ is and why it is very ‘you’ – you’ll understand your style personality and be able to make informed choices when it comes to shopping. You’ll gain confidence to try wearing your existing clothes in different ways; to mix and match your stuff so that even though you have less it feels like you’ve git a lot more choice.
A step by step guide for you to work through at your own pace, supported by me and other course members in a private Facebook group. Real ‘ordinary’ women who understand the issues, supporting and inspiring each other through each stage. You have lifetime access to the 5 modules and your own personal log in to the membership site. You can work through entirely at a pace that suits you from the comfort of your own home – you just need internet access. You will also benefit from 2 x 30 minute support calls with me that you can 'cash' in at any time.
Module 1 | The What Module – you’ll figure out what you like and why, define your style and your lifestyle needs. This module is about learning about your relationship with clothes and involves: quizzes, questionnaires, collages (real cutting and sticking or digital) perhaps a bit of reflection and journaling – it’s up to you how involved you get.
Module 2 | The Get Module – this is all about looking and chucking, you get it all out of your wardrobe, get rid of what is not right and get down on paper what‘s left. This module is about facing up to what you actually have in the Wardrobe That’s Failing and actually physically starting to detox it. You’ll need bin bags and nice coat hangers for this stage.
Module 3 | The Fit Module – this is all about whether it physically fits, whether it fits your lifestyle, is it fit for purpose, does it fit with other things. This module involves trying everything on, you’ll need to allow yourself plenty of time and have a full length mirror for this stage. You might need more bin bags too.
Module 4 | The Mix Module – This is where we start mixing things up a bit, mixing and matching, experimenting and exploring. This module involves looking at your pared down, post detox wardrobe and trying on again but following a few guidelines as you go. You’ll need the full length mirror again, a notebook and a camera.
Module 5 | The List Module – this is where you list your priorities, list questions to ask yourself, list gaps, and make a wish list and a checklist. This module is about bringing it all together, and creating your personal wardrobe prescription, crafting recommendations for yourself to help you avoid reverting back to a wardrobe that’s failing in future.
Can you imagine how it would feel to finally re-find yourself, to dress exactly how you like to and in clothes that really suit you, can you imagine that new confidence as you hold your head high and head into that networking meeting, client meeting, conference and not worry about the way you look because you look amazing and feel comfortable too? To feel like you are showing up as the real you? To dress exactly how you like to, in colours and clothes that really suit you and your personality? Can you imagine that new confidence as you hold your head high and walk into that party, restaurant, networking meeting, client meeting, conference and not worry about the way you are dressed because you know you look amazing and feel comfortable too?
This is an absolute no brainer – for an investment now you will save so much money in the long run.
Think about how many tops you have in your wardrobe right now (that you’ve paid anything between £10-£30 and even more for) that you never wear. They might even still have tags on! You even could sell them and create the money to pay for this course
I just know it’s going to be amazing but here’s what my previous Style Squadettes have said
Before my online course with Lisa followed by a 121 colour analysis I was really in a muddle about what clothes/shoes/accessories, I should be wearing, to a point where I could sit & sob about what to pack, even a night away, never mind a holiday! Well, I have found out soooo much about myself that I now have a wardrobe that suits my style/moods & work/leisure activities much better than I could imagine. Yes, I have said goodbye to some items & now know 'why' they never made me feel fab wearing them but I have lots of healthy choices for all occasions, including some fabulous new things. Thanks so much Lisa, such a patient & supportive 'consultant'. Sue McFarlane
Amazing woman who just talks sense and builds confidence. I joined with trepidation. How wrong I was. Apart from the personal style coaching she offers where she is extremely approachable and understanding, Lisa regularly posts in her chat room on current trends, ideas and views - all with a great sense of humour. Highly recommended. Just do it! Rae Clarke
I thoroughly enjoyed the Online Course and got so much out of it. I now know my colours, my personal style. This is going to save me so much money in the future and was well worth the small investment. Thank you Lisa for making me look and feel so much better. You are a miracle worker! Mandy Smith
Will I have to throw all my clothes away and start from scratch?
No. The idea is that you get rid of the stuff you never wear (nor ever will wear) to create space. You’ll be able to see everything that you keep much more clearly and you will actually love how the remaining items make you feel after the process.
Do I need to know lots of techie stuff to study online?
Not really. You need to be able to access the internet to log in to the course. The course is hosted on a site called simplero and you will get a personal log in account. There will be videos for you to watch and pdf booklets for you to download, it is all clearly labelled and will be easy to work through.
Do I need a Facebook Account?
Yes, ideally, as a big part of the value of the course comes from the daily support available in the Facebook group. It’s a private group so only me and other members will know you are there. It’s a safe space for you to post questions and comments.
Will other people be able to see me when I’m watching the videos?
No one can see you when you are watching the videos but I will know when you have accessed the information through my admin account.
Will I be able to ask questions if there’s anything I don’t understand
Of course – you’ll have daily access to me (and other course members) in the secret Facebook group.
What if I get behind?
It’s not that kind of course that has a start and finish date. You start when it suits you and work through the modules at you r own pace.
Will I have to post pictures of myself n the internet?
You will be able to post selfies of your outfits and experiments n the secret group I f you want to but it’s not obligatory. Only the people in the group can see them or even know they are there. It’s a great opportunity for getting feedback though if you are not sure about something so I’d encourage it.
